There's been a strike in Nigeria for the past week because of the removal of Fuel Subsidy.

I think this article is pretty thorough about why this is happening and the general opinion of the people. If you don't want to read the
whole thing I'd advice to at least read the third paragraph.

Latest news is Goodluck Johnathan has announced that the price of fuel has been reduced from 141 to 97 per litre
The original price was 65
$1 = 160

I never in my dreams thought I would ever make a blog post on politics.

I really like this post, I get the feeling ( from rleatives in Nigeria) that the corruption is one of the BIG Factors of all the current resentment.
